Malunggay Noodles – How to make

Dr. Lorna Valera”s

Ingredients: 2 ½ c flour

1 c malunggay leaves, dried

¾ c water

2 eggs

2 tsp. salt

Procedure: 1. Mix all ingredients.

2. Knead until smooth and elastic.

3. Dust with flour and roll.

4. Extrude or cut.

5. Boil.

6. Rinse and drain.

Note: 1. If you dry after extruding or cutting, it is called “dried miki.”

2. If you fry after rinsing, it is called “pancit canton.”

  1. hello po…tanong ko lang po kung gaano katagal ang shelf-life ng noodles na ‘to halimbawa ginawa syang “dried miki”

  2. mari,

di ko masasagot yan kasi kelangan pa niyan ng study. Sa govt agency yan ipinapa study like dost or bfad. or the simplest way is to make your own and stock it for a while then you will get an idea of it’s shelf life. I hope I helped you there.

  3. pano gumawa ng malunggay oil…wla instruction eh…jejeje

  4. aljon

wala talagang instruction kasi di ko alam eh. Baka naman pareho din sa VCO na ipa-pulp muna saka pipigain saka patitiningin saka mo i-scoop ang oil. Di ko talaga alam, wala pang nag se-share sa method.

i haven’t tried doing this yet. but if you really want to know how much you can make out of it, you may experiment. Kung maulan, try to find the airiest place you can find in your house. You may even turn on the fan to keep the place airy. good luck.
